Make Your Last Purchase of the Year a Black Friday Steal

Ana- Just when I thought tariffs on fashion would make it impossible for me to shop again; it started. It was irresistible. My phone was being bombarded by Black Friday's 50% off deals.
Suddenly everything I have been putting off buying; like a replacement sling purse, rushes back to the priority list. And so, I succumbed. I texted Corina with the perfect excuse: “We have to blog about Black Friday deals.”
I bought a top in a color I do not have in my closet. I was looking for a sling bag and ended up with a belt bag. I love both purchases and they were both 50% off. The purse was less than $15 and the top was $40.
I am pretty happy with my purchases. They are unique and have already given new life to old garments in my closet.
Viejas, maybe the silver lining of tariffs on fashion purchases is that it makes us appreciate items on sale even more, and be more intentional about what we buy.
Corina- Black Friday shopping is not one of my favorite pastimes. I usually stay away from the mall or any store during that time since I don't really care for crowds. However, this year I ventured out during Black Friday in search of specific items.
Sharing the last two “deals of the year” below.

A dress to wear for a formal event I attended earlier this month and a pair of waterproof winter boots. The dress I ended up ordering online since many stores do not carry as much inventory as they used to in the past.

Shoes I always like to try on at the store. I need to make sure they fit properly and that they are comfortable. The search for my boots took a little longer than expected but I did end up with a great pair, which I put to good use while visiting Ana in Rhode Island for the holidays.
Viejas, Looking forward to what’s in and new in the new year!
